  • 100 Inning Game & Little League Camp

    The 100 Inning Game is an all-day event at Clear Lake High School. Pledges per inning are collected to help fund the baseball program.

    A mini-camp will be conducted by the Falcon baseball players with emphasis on teaching little leaguers the basic skills needed to become better baseball players.

    Lunch will be served at the field. Tickets will be on sale before and during events.

    Jed Morris Victory Fund

    This year, 25% of all proceeds will be donated to the Jed Morris Victory Fund. Jed is a Clear Lake Baseball family member who was diagnosed with leukemia last year. Jed played here for 3 years, then 2 years at Tyler Junior College and 2 years at Nebraska and is currently in the Oakland Athletics organization.

    Little League Mini-Camp

    Designed for youth ages 5-12 years old to interact and train with the Falcon baseball team. Cost is $30 per player. Check-in at 11:30 am. Each camper will receive a t-shirt, meal and two-hour training camp.

    Space is limited to the first 100 applicants.

  • 2009 Falcon Baseball Camps

    STAFF : Head Coach Rupert Jaso, CLHS assistant coaches, coaches from the Houston area and former players will  provide instruction  during the camps.

    PHILOSOPHY : The camps are designed to teach fundamentals of baseball, individual skills and teams skills.

    FORMAT : Campers will be taught the fundamentals of play at different positions. Each camper will be grouped with players of equal ability in order to promote safety and confidence. There will be instruction in infield, outfield, pitching and hitting.

    WHAT TO BRING : Campers will need to bring a glove and are encouraged to have baseball pants and a hat. Bringing your own bat or other playing gear is also strongly encouraged. Make sure you have campers name on all equipment. 

    SESSION 1 – GRADES 1 - 6
    March 16, 17, 18

    March 16, 17, 18 campers will have an opportunity to learn all skills involved with playing baseball. Campers will work on hitting skills, defensive skills,  position work and pitching. During this camp we will end the day with team play so that all areas of the game are being introduced.

    SESSION 2 – GRADES 7 - 9
    JUNE 8, 9, 10

    June 8th through 10th we will have a camp for all incoming intermediate athletes and freshmen. This camp will be used to teach fundamentals and team skills but will also be used to prepare the athletes for high school baseball. Coming to this camp gives players a chance to meet the high school coaches and get instruction before their freshman year. It is a great opportunity for young players to prepare for their future in baseball.
